The WASC Donald C. Larsen Foundation was created to support the WASC mission through charitable gifts from alumni, community members, corporations, foundations, and other friends of the WASC. For more than 75 years, the Wisconsin Association of School Councils has been providing leadership training for the youth of Wisconsin - tomorrow's leaders getting the training they need today.
One of the core programs that WASC offers is a series of leadership camps. Each summer, as they progress through middle and high school, students are given the opportunity to attend one of six distinct and age appropriate camps. For five days, students are led by professionals and junior counselors through various activities dedicated to help them understand what it means to be a leader - not only in school, but in life. Current and past attendees agree that WASC camp is one of the most significant learning experiences of their lives.
But neither the WASC nor its camp attendees can do it alone. They rely on your help to make sure the programs remain active and that students are given the opportunity to be a part of them. Each year, dozens of youth apply for camp scholarships, demonstrating the need for your help to keep them involved in these great programs.
Your donation to the WASC Donald C. Larsen Foundation will ensure that the youth of Wisconsin can take advantage of this vital learning experience. Please consider donating to this important cause!
